About me and my philosophy
My training in different embodied psychotherapy approaches as well as yoga is helpful fore many issues, but somatic sexology and bodywork felt like the missing piece, the x-factor that would really make a difference for people who struggle to connect to their sexuality. I'm now a certified sexological bodyworker/somatic sex educater.
We live in a world where being efficient means moving fast. This effects our nervous system in ways that are often unconscious to us, but our body keeps the score. The body is the most honest part of us, and when we ignore it’s signals it forces us to listen. We can get all sorts of symptoms ranging on the spectrum from emotional to physical if we keep pushing beyond our capacity. The Cartesian way of dividing mind and body, psyche and soma, is absurd to me. I believe it’s all part of the same. My mission is to help you align all your parts so you can feel more coherent in your whole being.
I am a multifaceted creature who doesn’t like to limit myself to labels or titles. I love exploring life and all its wonders: art, nature, humans, animals. I practice yoga and dance to cultivate my own bliss. I have compassion and ease with your process, as I myself have my own journey. I think we should honor our own pace and rhythm throughout our lifelong discovery of ourselves. Therefore I do not force what is not ready to appear, but I will participate and facilitate your learning process so you don’t have to feel so alone in it.
